Along with learning a lot about blogging in general, I also learned a tremendous amount about my topic, healthy lifestyles, and various ways. Prior to writing this blog about living a healthy lfiestyle, the main chunk of knowledge I had was from what I have done in my life to be healthy, however, I had done very little research to find this information, but rather was more of trial-and-error. What I learned through research was related to how to work out and eat healthy. One of my favorite blog posts that I found very intresting was the 10 mistakes that are commonly made by those who are trying to become healthy by eating well and exercising. This post was relateable to me because I had often thought some of these things were beneficial to being healthy, which a lot of other people believe as well. Another blog I enjoyed researching was my general research post, which had many general facts about health. One being that it is 80% what you put into your body and 20% physical activity, thus nutrition is an extremely important part, if not the most important part, of leading a healthy lifestyle. In this research, I also found that a person needs about 30 minutes of cardio at least three times weekly to stay healthy. While these facts are not only pertinent to myself, they were also pertinent to my audience, which was college-age students.
Now that I know more about living a healthy lifestyle, I would like to do more research on how to improve health throughout college campuses since it is a common problem for college-age students. It's important to improve healthy lifestyles in college as it improves productivity and decreases stress/anxiety, as well as overall has been proven to improve academic performance. http://www.bestcollegereviews.org/health-and-nutrition-for-college-students/ https://www.nerdfitness.com/blog/2013/01/14/5-mistakes-that-newbies-make-when-trying-to-get-healthy/ http://topyaps.com/top-10-mistakes-people-make-when-trying-to-get-in-shape
